Hi! I have installed nntpcache on a couple of RedHat5.0 machines without incident until I have been called to a site that is complaining of an illegal seek error at startup as described below. I am using the latest rpm for the job and believe that the conditions are the same apart from the news server. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
