Yup, it's fairly common when admins manually add in newsgroups to the INN newsgroups file. I used to use a small script to tidy up the newsgroups file each night specifically because of this and the other problem, of spaces instead of tabs between newsgroup names and descriptions. Julian, nntpcached needs more sanity checking and robustness in this department. AB
