You may have not activated the right config option.
My output was more like:

root@localhost ~]# uname -ra
Linux localhost 4.4.0fser-06534-gece6267 #2 SMP Mon Jan 18 22:36:48 CET 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
