I am trying to compile kernel in Ubuntu.
I am getting the following error and i am unable to rectify it.I am trying to compile kernel in Ubuntu.

Looking at your problem it seems that ncurses-devel is not the package
name for what you are looking for.
You could try, "apt-cache search ncurses", from the list, get the
name of the package you are looking for.
