It would good if some senior members on the list share their knowledge in form of some sort of programming exercise on this list.
For example decide a topic for a week and discuss about that topic in the week.
Starting from some one who is absolutely new to kernel development.
(Having said that I have written basic hello kernel and  character device driver for myself)

If like this people can continue such a thing here that will be a bit helpful 
to those people who do not have any thing to do with IT or IT organizations but are interested 


The best idea is to look into Robert's tutorial, they are very good and comprehensive.
