The parameter in the command line is transferred to the kernel firstly, when the file system is mounted, they are transferred to /proc/cmdline. Other shell script need the parameter will analysis it later.

Just a quick question.

How is "console" booting parameter transferred to linux? Could somebody point me out good docs for it, please?

IIRC, you need to pass "console=<UART>,<BAUD-RATE>" ?n your kernel command line.
e.g.: console=ttyS0,115200n8
