There are so many sites, which talk about configuring mail client and what not to do on mailing list
infact robert loves book also talk about details of what not to do on mail lists
and there are documents in linux-2.6.xx/documentation about mailing and submitting patches.
The general rule is DO IT YOURSELF, try bumping around the google and net and if you think u have done ur homework and its so unobvious, then only ask.
