bridging two virtual devices?

Hi,
 
Is it possible to bridge two virtual devices?
 
$ vconfig  add eth0 1
$ vconfig  add eth0 2
$ifconfig
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:00:00:00:00:00

Will there be any draw back due to such usage?
 
Or is such usage vaild?
