The things that cross my head:
a. different L1/L2/L3 cache size....including cache line size and the
degree of cache asociation

b. does the OS do pre fault? i mean, like read head but specifically
for creating page entry.

c. does page fault at the same time introduce cache flush?

d. is read ahead enabled? and how big?

regards,

Mulyadi.
