A good low cost option is the Olimex SAM9-L9260 dev kit. www.olimex.com 
It comes with a CD with a free (Lite) Codesourcery toolchain, the kernel
(curr 2.6.26.3) , U-boot and bootstrap source
And the board preprogrammed and tested. You must use a Linux host however to
produce executable code.

         I am sai.Please help me in selecting a Low cost processor with
freely available development kit to port linux.
and If i am using Atmel should i need to buy Development ket (or) it is for
freely(open source) available in the net.
