Now the latest stable version is 2.26.28 but the latest rc > version is 2.6. 28-rc9. It should be 2.26.29-rcx according to the document. There is not a release candidate for linux-2.6.29 so far. Now the merge window is open and all the changes for 2.6.29 are merged.
