i have compiled kernel 2.6.22 on my system.after installation of that kernel i required to give acpi=off in kernel parameter them i am able to boot in my OS.as well it is not shutting off properly at last it is hanging at System halt.
i am having fedora on my system for that no extra option require to boot as well it is shutting off properly.
how to compile 2.6.22 to solve system halt problem and acpi=off.???
i have attached my config file with this mail..
is there any patch require??
