Hi Mulyadi Santosa,

Here with I am pasting the /etc/grub.conf file. The Kernel which I have compiled is high lighted.

======================================================

#boot=/dev/sda

default=1

timeout=10

splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

hiddenmenu

title Fedora Core (2.6.24-pure)

root (hd0,0)

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.24-pure ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet

initrd /initrd-2.6.24-pure.img

title Fedora Core (2.6.22.14-72.fc6)

root (hd0,0)

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.22.14-72.fc6 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet

initrd /initrd-2.6.22.14-72.fc6.img

=======================================================
should boot= /dev/sda be used in this conf file?

Thanks & regards,
Sidhu.
