Subject: font names

I am running Xfbdev (Kdrive-fbdev) on an ARM9. I am using a program that
translates it's font names to the names known by X. I can see the list of
fonts by doing a fc-list, but these are not in the format I need as it is
looking for the long name like:

-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--8-60-100-100-c-50-iso8859-1

I would like to get this information for fonts like dejavu-sans and others
that are truetype fonts, but am not sure how to get them. I know that
xlsfonts has been used in the past but it is not on my filesystem. Is there
another way to get this information?

I apologize for not adding this info...

These are the fonts I have: (and I want to know the name that X expects
from them in the form from above
(-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--8-60-100-100-c-50-iso8859-1)
