kernel build problem

hi ,guys:

   

        I just rebuild my kernel(2.6.20) at fc6,but when I reboot from  grub,  I got
the message:

            .........               

        Switching to new root and running init.
        unmounting old /dev
        unmounting old /proc
        unmounting old /sys

 

   my pc just down at this poinit.Is the promlem of my grub configuration?????or my disk patition???

 my grub is

               root(hd0,4)   

               kernel  /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.20  root=/dev/hda5

               initrd   /boot/initrd-2.6.20.img
