Why the old_mm->context.size is less than zero?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hi,

I just found that the old_mm->context.size is a negative value for a
shell process, which is going to exec "/bin/ls". I assume that if the
shell process has no its own ldt, the size should be zero, right?

File: arch/i386/kernel/ldt.c function: init_new_context

Thanks,
Neo
