I did that - up to compilation its ok !! I am going wrong in the grub
configuration
title Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (2.6.9-42.0.10.EL_lustre.1.4.10smp)
       root (hd0,0)
       kernel /boot /vmlinuz-2.6.9-42.0.10.EL_lustre.1.4.10smp ro
root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
       --->initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9-42.0.10.EL_lustre.1.4.10smp.img

where do I get this file ???
& i copied the bzImage after compilation with this option

make bzImage && make modules && make modules_install

into the /boot & also the System.map

what else I heed to do ..
