i'm curious about the inherent necessity of POSIX message queues. according to its help info, "To use this feature you will also need mqueue library, available from http://www.mat.uni.torun.pl/~wrona/posix_ipc/>." and yet, that same help info suggests, "If unsure, say Y." it's not clear to me why a feature that *requires* you to download some third-party software should be recommended for selection. is this feature really that critically important? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
