Dealing with the -mm tree

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi list,

After realizing that Andrew don't use a git repository for the
mm tree due to its nature, I wondered about those three lines in the
-mm announcement:

http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/2.6.20-mm2/announce.txt
[...]
- To fetch an -mm tree using git, use (for example)
git-fetch git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/smurf/linux-trees.git \
	  tag v2.6.16-rc2-mm1
git-checkout -b local-v2.6.16-rc2-mm1 v2.6.16-rc2-mm1
[...]

But the latest pull is a 2.6.16 kernel, Are those lines out of date?.

Thanks,
