Hello. I have just git pulled 2.6.20, made silentoldconfig and chose all default answers, built and run the new kernel (before that I had 2.6.20-rc5). With 2.6.20 my X doesn't work. I see the fedora login screen (I have FC6), but after I login the screen is black but two white straps (in the upper and lower borders of the screen), and the popup of the "Security Updates Available". Oh and the mouse icon is working. but nothing else; no desktop, no menus... If I reboot into my 2.6.20-rc5 everything works fine. Does anyone have any clue ? Forgive me if this is OT.
