Have you looked thru Documentation/scsi in the source tree? and the old 2.4 howto (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/SCSI-2.4-HOWTO/) I don't think SCSI has had any drastic changes since 2.6 so I am not aware of any major 2.6 based documentation. If it exists it should be referenced by something in Documentation/scsi. Greg
Thanks Greg for your answer. The SCSI how to is not much of a driver writer's guide. But it is very informative. The kerneltree/Documentation is also very informative but i am looking for the kind of documents found in documentation/docbook. I mean the Kernel programming API's and internal workings. I found this document and is very close to what i was searching. http://developer.osdl.org/dev/opendrivers/documentation/scsi_design_analysis_2_6_v2.pdf Thanks... -- --------------------------------------------------------------- regards Manish Regmi --------------------------------------------------------------- UNIX without a C Compiler is like eating Spaghetti with your mouth sewn shut.
