I've already tried that and also noacpi during boot. It had no effects on it whatsoever. I am actually trying reproduce the problem that one of our customers is facing. Is there a way I can quickly write something that can be made to share the same irq as our device. This behavior is commonly seen on 2.6.17 whenever irq is shared.
