Re: Question regarding Kernel Messages

Hi all,

thanks for the info. Now I was able to see my debug messages using the console=ttyS0,115200,8n1 option and specifying the level of kernel verbosing (cat 4 > /proc/sys/kernel/printk). I am using Suse 9. It is a 2.6.9 variant.

Is there any kernel parameter used for setting the level of kernel verbosing?

Thanks and regards!

Jesus

Hi,

Please do mention the Linux kernel you are using, when asking kernel
related questions.

Check your klogd/syslogd settings. For 2.4 Linux kernels:
