Dear All, Please look into this if you have free time. In linux 2.6.9 kernel (vanilla) I got better response time by increasing HZ value: 1. with 1500 for HZ -----> < 2ms response 2. with 1000 for HZ -----> < 3ms response Is it harmless if I increase HZ value some more?? What would be the maximum value for HZ: Currently I saw 15xx maximum limitation for HZ. How can i over come that limitation?
