hi all,
when i compiled the linux kernel 2.6.15.5 at the last stage after MAKE INSTALL it gave following error message:
All of your loopback devices are in use.
mkinitrd failed
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make: *** [install] Error 2

what might gone wrong! pls provide me the solution!

it might be because of u forgot to activate loopback support as Module and RAMdisk support builtin in kernel while selecting kernel configuration options.

Regards,
Parag.
