Are you asking for compiling a external kernel module then search
google for creating makefile for 2.4.x kernel series __OR__ If you
just want to compile a module/code present in kernel after doing some
changes in it then you have to recompile the whole kernel else take
that code out of kernel as an external module and then compile and
load it from outside :)
