Hi All,

I need to build  crc32c.ko  and  libcrc32c.ko   for  kernel 2.6.9-22.ELsmp , 2.6.9-22-EL, 2.6.9-22.ELhugemem.

Currently I   use the sources from  linux-2.6.9.tar.bz2   which  takes lot of time.  Crc32c.c  resides in KERNEL_SRC/crypto

and libcrc32c resides in KERNEL_SRC/lib.

What are the other ways to get the sources for these kernel modules?  I could not find them on rpmfind.net.

there r no other ways AFAIK of getting kernel source files individually like u want.

it ll b better u untar the source on a separate machine and copy those two specific files to the custom machine where u want to?

but still i think this will still land u in a trouble of few exported symbols which these modules will need.

better check wat are those symbols and include their respective srcs too.

good luck
