Ick, why?  udev is _very_ tightly tied to the distro boot process, I
would not recommend you do this at all.  If you really want a new kernel
and the latest udev, use Fedora instead.

There is no .tdb file for the later versions of udev.  If you have udev
specific questions, please ask them on the linux-hotplug-devel mailing
list.
