I don't know the answer, all what you posted looks sane to me (without
knowing your hardware, of course). You might want to have a look at how
LinuxBIOS passes memory information to the kernel, I guess they had
similar problems like your own bootloader. Or just ask on the
linux-kernel mailing list which is a better mailing list for this kind
of advanced questions.
