Hello everybody,
New problems for me and my kernels... I've upgraded redhat 9.0 to fedora
core 4 and now, when trying to work with my old kernel 2.4.18 I got a kernel
panic because upgrading has deleted the link with initrd and when trying to
compile 2.4.18 again from 2.6.11 I got the following error
"usr/src/linux-2.4.18/include/asm/unistd.h:360: Warning types in conflict
for the intern function _exit"
So, I've recovered my X windows by doing an update but now I can't work with
my old kernel version. Is there a way for working with 2.4.18 by
recompiling althought I've installed 2.6.11 by default?
Someone has told me about user mode linux but I think that's very difficult
to do.
Thanks,
Cristina.
