    Hi all,
I am wondering whether ldd 3rd Ed. is out. According to o'reilly, it
    is. But
according to bookpool, amazon, BN, ..etc it is not. Orielly does not
    seem to
offer any discount, whereas bookpool/amazon/bn.com ..etc do.

Just FYI. I just received it from Bookpool and a guy at work ordered several of them through Amazon. Maybe you aren't looking properly.

ISBN 0-596-00590-3

I got the 13th chapter (from orielly web site).

Is this book going to be free as 2nd Ed...? I read from lwn.net
    <http://lwn.net> that this
will not be GPL-ed. If so, how long before we will get the
    electronic version?

    Regards,
    Om
