Unknown symbol: copy_from_user

This one has me stumped.  Can anyone give me any hints as to why I get 
this message when trying to load my module?  I'm using kernel 2.6.9 
(Fedora Core 3).  I'm including asm/uaccess.h.

Since Fedora has a bug where /proc/kallsyms is missing, I can't query 
the kernel and ask it if that symbol has been defined.  But the source 
tree does have "EXPORT_SYMBOL(copy_from_user);" in arch/i386/lib/usercopy.c.
