patch for /dev/mem of FC

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hello

According to http://lwn.net/Articles/104415/, Fedora Core started to
use a patch to secure /dev/mem. I would like to know where to get that
patch?

Here is the excerpt from the mentioned paper: "Arjan van de Ven's
patch which keeps processes from being able to overwrite kernel memory
via /dev/mem. This patch has been shipped with Red Hat/Fedora kernels
for a while, but is not yet in the mainline".

Thank you a lot,
AQ
