hi all i have a query regarding block I/O in linux 2.6. The block devices maintains "request queues" for I/O. Can we have any number of queuues for a single device. i.e, if i have a single hard disk, will there be a single request queue maintained for that hard disk or there can be multiple request queues for the same disk TIA sanjayk
