Hi,

I noticed some problems with http:/www.kernelnewbies.org website, and
after interacting with people at #kernelnewbies , am enumerating the
list here:

1. http://www.kernelnewbies.org/changelogs/ doesn't have data for 2.6.x.
The main page's data seems up-to-date.
2. http://www.kernelnewbies.org/kernels/ leads to a "Forbidden" error page.
3. http://www.kernelnewbies.org/mailinglist.php3 returns a blank page.
This may explain why not many more people have been joining the list
recently.
4. http://www.kernelnewbies.org/stats/ is non-existent.
5. The Search Log feature doesn't seem to be accessible:
http://www.kernelnewbies.org/search/search.cgi?q=War2&ps=10&o=0&m=all&wm=wrd&ul=%2Flogs%2F
brings up the "Forbidden" error page.
6. The web-chat page http://www.kernelnewbies.org/welcome/irc.cgi is
non-existent. (Question: Is this supposed to be using CGI::IRC ?)

This list may not be exhaustive, but some of these are quite crucial -
e.g. the Mailing List page (not everyone would google for the mailing
list subscription link).

As an enthusiast 'newbie', I can offer my help here - in case the
existing members of the kernelnewbies.org team may not be in a position
currently to take time out to make changes to the site. Let me know if I
can help out. Also, please note that I myself cannot spend a lot of time
(involved in a lot of other initiatives), but yes, I will attempt to
contribute to a just limit.
