Hi , I have the output of /proc/meminfo , but how to analyze the individual fields , like SwapCached: Active: ActiveAnon: ActiveCache: Inact_dirty: Inact_laundry: Inact_clean: Inact_target: Is there any formula by which I can co-relate the data obtained with the memory usage of the processes running ? I was unable to get man meminfo ( like man slabinfo ) Looking forward to your response . Cheers ! cat /proc/meminfo total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached: Mem: 525811712 351744000 174067712 0 6672384 298295296 Swap: 1743749120 47841280 1695907840 MemTotal: 513488 kB MemFree: 169988 kB MemShared: 0 kB Buffers: 6516 kB Cached: 271120 kB SwapCached: 20184 kB Active: 238396 kB ActiveAnon: 21208 kB ActiveCache: 217188 kB Inact_dirty: 52008 kB Inact_laundry: 14428 kB Inact_clean: 6832 kB Inact_target: 62332 kB HighTotal: 0 kB HighFree: 0 kB LowTotal: 513488 kB LowFree: 169988 kB SwapTotal: 1702880 kB SwapFree: 1656160 kB HugePages_Total: 0 HugePages_Free: 0 Hugepagesize: 4096 kB __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
