(-2 comes into picture if you consider superblock and group descriptors) So, number of blocks in "Group 7" is ("Block count"-229376) = 261048-229376 = 31672 But we have "Blocks per group = 32768" So number of blocks in "Group 7" is not same as "Blocks per group" But it is fine in all the other groups. Can someone enlighten the secret behind this? Another question is, for "Group 6" inode bitmap at 196609, inode table at 196612. What happened to the two blocks between inode bitmap and inode table?
