thanks! it compiled. However I have got to look into
what -DMODVERSIONS is used for. I am sure it is for
versioning but am not quite sure what its
functionality is.

Also I had to include slab.h instead of malloc.h for
it to compile correctly. Is this the way its going to
be for all modules of v 2.4 and later?
