Hi all,
I have attempted a ugly hack seeing the phrack article
which describes about IDT hacking,
i try to execute a small assembly language ISR,
by hooking the timer interrupt
but my PC will either hang or restarts,
the small routine definatly takes less time means in
few microseconds then why computer is hanging as HZ is
100 means 10 millisecond,
if the average CPU usage is very less
say 35 percent in PC,so no need to do frequent timer0
interrupt,or
,I'm confused but i can used this 0 to 10
millisecond
in between time to controlling real time application
which takes time in microseconds.
so that i'm utilizing my usage of CPU more effectively

plz reply
Thanks to all
