hi friends,
i wrote a dummy module. i compiled it by simple command "gcc -c modname". when i tried to insmod i got error message like this:
Module is copiled for kernel version 2.4.40
Kernel version is 2.4.40-8
help me to tackle with module versions.
i m using redhat linux 9 (shrike).
