Bootable CD

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I'm trying to create bootable CD without using a floppy.
I'm currently have a script that creates image on the floppy, use LILO to
install MBR,
copies bootable image to a boot.img file, and creates bootable iso image.
Is there a way to get rid of the floppy in a path of creating bootable CD?
(ramdisk, etc...).
BTW, lilo doesn't allow to operate with ramdisk (not a block device :))

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Konstantyn
