Hi,

I thought unless you explicitly make a symbol static, it is visible to other modules.

What do you mean by default it is exported? I got my
symbol accessible by another module by explicitly exporting
it. Perhaps you should try that too?

Hi,

I need some help in accessing symbols exported from
other module.

One of my modules defines a variable ( say X) and by
default it is
exported > this is also visible in ksyms output.

But when I try to access it from another module and
try to print its
address It always returns zero and hence any access to
it crashes the
system stating null pointer reference

I am not able to figure what is going wrong.

Is it because I am not explicitly exporting the
symbols

Help needed.

Regds,

Abhinav
