No, in fact, it isn't. I was suggesting you add your own function
pointer, and registration and de-registration functions (similar to how
the kernel supports multiple filesystems), use EXPORT_SYMBOL to get
those registration and de-registration functions available, and work
from there.

I suppose other options, completely different, are tools such as dprobes
and kprobes. I don't understand either one, but they may come close. :)
