Hi list, I did defconf for 2.5.70 using: make mrproper make defconfig make make modules make modules_install make install After rebooting box, I get a kernel panic VFS Cannot open root device "LABEL=/" or unknown_block(0,0) Please append correct "root=" boot option I did a bit of googeling, and checked the kernel archives but I couldn't find much..
