I don't think it has been done yet, hence the 'must fix' moniker.

I suspect via sysfs would be a nice option.

You would have to talk to Jens Axboe, or maybe Andrew Morton.

I talked to Andrew about it the other day in real life, because I am
interested in when as-iosched will finally be merged.  Otherwise I am
uninterested (I do not think its a needed feature, to be honest).
