/proc/sys/kernel/panic

Greetings!
According to the documentation, if the kernel panics, it will reboot after the
amount of seconds in /proc/sys/kernel/panic given the value is > 0. Is this a
"unmount filesystems reboot", or the equivalent of pushing the reset button
on the front of the computer case?

Thanks!
