RE: Configuring Two Ethernet Cards

If you look at net/ipv4/ipconfig.c you will see that the ip in the command
line
is assigned to a single parameter, ic_myaddr.

It is my understanding that this parameter was meant for providing an IP
to a machine that needs the IP during the boot process (e.g. for nfsroot).
The rest of the IP addresses are expected to be setup by userland
program, i.e. "/etc/init.d/network start" does it.
