kernel mod writing for file access profile

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi folks,

I want to do some benchmark based on file usage statistics.
So I need to know which file is used, when it is used and I need to
know the actual filesize at the moment of usage.

So I decided to write a kernel mod that reports over syslog deamon the
filename, user and filesize.

Filename and user are not the problem, but the filesize.

How can I do this?

Thx, Frank
