memory driver
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
excuse me if this sounds very silly. is memory considered as a device or resource? linux has the entry "1 /dev/mem" in /proc/devices file.
this means that there is a driver (with major number 1) for driving memory. if not then what's the use of major number here?
TIA,
- Prabhakar
