Hi, With regard to ksymoops... I noticed that it needs a copy of the oops message, System.map, vmlinux etc. to point out where the EIP is pointing to. I tried to install lkcd on 2.4.18 but wasn't successful. Does anyone has a success story to tell? Thanks. jonathan > -----Original Message----- > From: kernelnewbies-bounce@nl.linux.org > [mailto:kernelnewbies-bounce@nl.linux.org] On Behalf Of Seth Arnold > Sent: Thursday, June 13, 2002 3:56 AM > To: kernelnewbies@nl.linux.org > Subject: Re: device driver debug solution/answer plus request > for comments > > > On Wed, Jun 12, 2002 at 10:07:38AM -0400, John F Davis wrote: > > So, the way I approached this problem was to examine the call > > backtrace address's.
